Is there much difference in prep level ability between STU and ESP other than the tire thing? I haven't bothered to check the rules at length, obviously. I still lean AS since I do like to drive the car *often* on the street.
Except update backdate not really anything you would want to do on the STi. In STU brakes are open, not in ESP, but you wouldn't care in that car. Also you can remove cats in ESP, must have 1 high flow in STU (which since you drive the car you should have anyways). Last but not least IC's are open in ESP while must be stock in STU. Miranda's STi either has or is in process of getting
- Big whiteline front and rear bars
- Ground Control advance design shocks/coilovers
- Intake
- Pulleys
- Turboback w/ high flow cat
- ECUtek engine mgmt
- Carbotech bobcats
- Adjustable rear control arms
- Poly Bushings all around
With those mods it can run STU or ESP depending on wheel/tire. The only real thing you give up for ESP is the IC, which could be another 20HP with tuning. If the car stays in ESP though, it will get the IC.
