Any body used? I recently bought a car from out of town with a couple of big chips on the tailgate. The dealer will fix them but that takes me half a day to accomplish.

Is this stuff any better than normal touch up paint?

YES and YES!!! Highly recommended!! This stuff is amazing. Used this on the mustang and the results are great. So the trick I learned is this. Unlike the TV commercial where they dab paint and then immediately wipe over w/ their super secret blending stuff, let the paint sit for AT LEAST 15 min, 30 is better. From there, lightly go over the place you just added the paint to remove the high spots. Pressing hard will remove the paint from the stone chip. I'm about to order more for the mustang and the new to me BMW.

There is no compare in using Dr Colorchip vs normal touch up paint. It's their pink colored blending fluid that does the trick. Worth every penny they ask....

This has been my experience as well. Used a ton of it on the M Roadster before I sold it.
Would buy again, for sure. As Rodney points out, technique is important for good results. The BMW paint is so prone to nicks that I had probably 30-40 to do on the front of the car--by the time I had filled them, 15-20 minutes had passed and it really performed as advertised.

Used with great results on multiple cars; however, you don't use the solution immediately afterward -- you put some on a chip and then smear it with a gloved finger and then let it dry for a while (at least 10 min); now you use their solution, gently, to remove the smear and buff out. The goal of smearing across the paint you put on the chip is to fill in the chip and then the solution gently cleans off the excess smear. If it's a deep chip, sometimes 2 or 3 layers is needed.

It's great for road rash too -- you can just smear a good amount of it all across the rash, let dry, then clean up with the solution.

It works very well on dark colors, but on silver it doesn't hide the chips nearly as well. In any event, it's a "2 foot and further away" solution since if you get down close to the surface, you can see the chip(s) filled in; however, it's MUCH better than traditional touch up paint.
