We got the motor back in the car a month ago and got it started. Youssef and Chris have been working on sorted out the electrical stuff and figuring out the bare minimum wiring that we need; I don't have a picture of the 2 boxes of wiring that they pulled out over the weekend. Finally got some wheels that fit and some tires. Trunk received some cutting and holes, but still needs to be finished up to be secured in place. I'll try to take some pictures tomorrow for a more up-to-date version of the Lexus. Until then, have a bad youtube video and a gif:

Which taillights are you "updating to"?

The gen 5's like VK is sporting. Just waiting on a bonus and for the lights to go back on sale.

FYI Rodney, since I know you are a picky bastard :P , these tail lights are quality units. They are built as well as the OE units, if not a little better. Mine fit and function perfectly.

lol, yeah, that's me.... I think these are a great upgrade to the 05-09 'stangs. I also like the fact these are a little more tinted and not quite as bright red when they are static.

Actually they are a lot more tinted, but since they are all LED, the light output is even brighter. The switchbacks in the reverse vs. brake lights is also cool. Pics of mine:

That's cool... I didn't know all the centers light up for reverse. Gotta be a ton better to see w/ considering the single lights in the stock setup. Really wished I'd pulled the trigger back when AM had a 15% off sale. Just need to wait, I'm sure they'll have another soon, they always do. Thanks for the pics VK, appreciate...

You guys piss me off, all I have gotten done so far is my garage cleared out enough to buy another car and cram it in there. Now the the motor cycles are impossible to get out with out moving two cars. Not a problem right now but will be.
I did get about half of a new paved/rock path put in from my parking apron to my back yard done. I guess that's something.

I managed to get my huge power steering cooler installed on the Camaro, so hopefully no more whining power steering pump after one run. The old fluid was burnt for sure, I now have nearly a whole extra quart of fluid and a heatsink style cooler. So hopefully we'll see how it does. Both Austin and myself after the #8 event has issues with our power steering pumps whining the rest of the day after that event. Even after just one run it was noticeable that the pumps were complaining.

So I managed to shoe-horn a 24" heatsink Derale cooler behind the lower grill opening. It took me all day to try and bleed the air out until I finally went and bought a hand vacuum pump and got the air pockets pulled out. I'm a huge believer in vacuum bleeding now!

SO if you see the huge aluminum cooler in the lower grill now, take note, it's not an intercooler, haha.

I bought a used set of GTA mufflers for the mustang. These are the stock ones off of a GT500. About the same sound at idle, but more aggressive tone under WOT. Being used, they were a little banged up. On top of that the bullitt has no chrome to speak of, so I broke out the drill and a flap sander. I just kept the drill in line w/ the tip and carefully back and forth. I think the graining is turning out well so far.

Image

Now to paint the back side of them black and mount and test. If these don't work out, I'm sure I can sell for what I have in them.

You are such a ricer Rodney. New taillights and new mufflers only to make your car louder? Whats next, neons? a big wing? VTEC stickers?
