I went to a tech day at A Better Wrench a few weekends ago. Thy are a Mercedes shop that's been around for about three decades. The owner, Max, said he's become really impressed with the newest Pennzoil secret sauce, I think the Ultra Euro, based on UOA reports he's run. I'd like to find it in 5W40 for both of our cars. Does anyplace local sell it?

Meanwhile, looks like you can get gallons of T6 at Advance this week for about $23. I might do that instead. That period of apparent oil use in Kara's car seems to have been an outlier - the e-dipstick :( has t budged since.

Nope, have to order it or I'd be running it ;)

My favorite retailer, Amazon Prime carries it. Not quite local ,but pretty close.

Good point - I forgot to look on Amazon. Great suggestion! Kind of a Pandora's Box though...Redline and even Motul 8100 are on there, for fairly similar prices, although I guess the Pennzoil is slightly cheaper since it's 6 1-quart bottles, not a gallon or 5L jug.
