He's already turning into a typical P-car owner  :stick:

I did steal a section of 21 year old vacuum hose off the integra to patch the 10 year old crumbled hose on the 330.... Couldn't find my box of spare hoses. I'll probably just get a new piece for the honda!

Scott, did you replace the whole DISA, or did you get a gasket?

I replaced the entire unit. The valve was really loose and the seal around everything looked terrible.

The disa valve does not have a replaceable gasket its molded to the valve.

A Viton #140 is the replacement gasket, at least on the E46.

If any of you E46 guys wants to recode any body electronics, I just got the BMW scanner 1.4.0. Just finished disabling the DRLs, disabling auto-locking on drive-away, and disabled selective unlocking (now one click of the remote unlocks all doors). There are a bunch of other scan/change functions but those were the "must do's" for me.

It's an OBD2 dongle, USB cable, and a CD. Will loan out or do it for you for a 6-pack of your favorite beer :)

Review (ignore the cable mod stuff)

I'm ridding myself of windows computers completely and all that I have left is a ca. 2002 desktop so I might take you up on the beer for you to do it for me ;). Maybe when I'm done with the RTAB puller, I'll stop by?
