Well, since full time autox duties are going another direction the decision was made to turn the PT into a more capable street and track performer.

Plan:

S52 swap (M3)
Lightened flywheel
Clutch set
Ecu upgrade
M brake upgrade
Vader seats
Z3 rear end/axles (not sure which one yet)

Several parts have been sourced already and the plan is to rebuild the engine and brake components. Some pics of the parts acquired:

Craigslist... Of all places. Saw a posting online in Southport, I got everything pictured for a killer deal that couldn't be passed up. Motor has 144k on it, it will be pulled apart and gone thru, cleaned and rebuilt for a fresh start.

And I ended up having a good manual transmission here in stock. I also found a nice low mileage z3 rear with alxes for this thing. FUN FUN

Come on, do it right and go SMG with it!!!

I really want to do an E30 M3 clone with an S52 and SMG in it. Bad.

Hmm, if that's the case then I either didn't get the message, or didn't have the parts.

What sort of details do you want? I've got BUNCH of BMW parts cars, from 67 2002 up to a 2000 528i.

Local folks seem to have the best luck coming out to my place so they can see in person what I have vs. what they might need.

;)
