 Post subject: Floor jack doesn't go back down when valve is open

My floor jack doesn't want to come back down lately unless you push it down manually. The spring is still stiff. I've bled it a few times but doesn't help. Any ideas?

All of my jacks have done this as they age. I just push them down manually like Kevin suggests.

As long as it pumps up correctly and goes down with the car on it, i wouldn't be concerned with it.
