hey guys, well this year would be the first year i could attend the party. but one major issue, my works party is on the same night.

how do things usually happen?
I see that the doors open at 6pm and food is at 7pm. i really would like to attend both but the thscc one being in wilson and my work one being in raleigh might be hard.

I would like to come for the first portion/awards/ballots/payment but i want to get a guesstimate time of when that'll be so i can try to coordinate something with my work party.

my work party starts at 8:30pm and I can probably be fashionably late to that.

thanks

As someone who has been in the same boat for 7 of the past 10 years, I will tell you that you will have MUCH more fun at the THSCC party.

How can you beat Bill Ellis BBQ, BYOB, fun people, 5 questions, the track report, trophies, door prizes, John Sheely's hair, and seeing Art's mom accepting the position as registrar for next year??

How's that lifetime "No cookies for you" diet going so far Todd?

I've never known one of our parties to wrap up before 10:30 or 11. The officers can tell you the agenda, but we typically intersperse the trophy and awards presentations with endless raffle drawings and other diversions. If you want to just show up, pay your 2010 dues and eat dinner, you'll probably be out the door by 8:00, but you'll miss most of the fun.
