Have you read the stories and shenanigans about this series and thought you would like to witness it for yourself? Would you like to try on the 24 Hours of Lemons experience for size before you commit to running a team of your own? If this sounds interesting then
Team Magnum, PUmay have an opportunity tailor made just for you. Our team will be entered in the February 2010 race at CMP and we need a chew chief.
So what exactly does the crew chief do at one of these insanely fun events? Basically you would be responsible for radio communications with the driver. This mainly includes flag calls over the radio, which is a
VERY important job. The crew chief watches for local and full course cautions and relays this information to the driver. Re-starts are also very important and the driver can benefit greatly from knowing when the green flag is dropped, often gaining three or four spots on a re-start. Additionally the crew chief may act act as a spotter and coach. Really the job isn’t too difficult, but it is important and a
FULL TIME job at the event.
So what do you get for your trouble? You get to be part of our team! OK, so maybe that isn’t quite as exciting as it sounds, but we can promise you it is a lot of fun. Ask anyone who has attended and they will confirm that if nothing else it is a spectacle. We aren’t a NASCAR team therefore we can’t afford to pay you, but your cost for the weekend will be
ZERO as our team will cover your entry fee, food, and lodging for the event.
