I got something similar to Mike's choice here off of Amazon, but instead of 7 impact sockets, there were four: 17mm 19mm 21mm and 13/16", but it also had 4 torque sticks: 80 ft lbs, 90 ft lbs, 100 ft lbs and 110 ft lbs. I tried both of them out on Bryan's C6 before the NCAC and the torque sticks were very accurate.

The link to the one I bought is here: Link

I got it about a 4 weeks ago, but only paid $44. I guess they quickly realized it was underpriced. - AB

After 5 years of having to remember to charge the compressor, only to find when I needed air that the charge didn't hold, I finally found a small compressor that is quick, easy and doesn't have to be charged.

Pep Boys sells something similar for a little less, I still can't attest for long term reliability as I'm on my second one after the first got driven over at a RX this year.

Griot's Garage sells a similar, but not identical, looking unit for $59.95. Their customer service is excellent, although, buying the one Gwen linked to at Northern would provide the ability to return it at a local store.

Chris and Eric have a rechargeable compressor that is the bee's knees. It's fast, reasonably quiet, has lasted for years, and doesn't have a power cord to drag around. I haven't been able to find one, though.

I have the same one and picked it up at Lowes. It's this one.

Surprisingly reliable Vector 12V 450amp jumpstarter and air compressor--had it for five years, works very well. Similar pricing locally at Pep Boyz, AutoZone etc. Has also worked well to jump start neighbors cars and works as a good DC power source with its cigarette-lighter style plug.

Also, I can't say enough good about a Battery Tender trickle charger. Not only does it keep my Z, Roady and E30 batteries charged, it has resurrected said car's batteries when they've died. And with its circuitry it can control whether to charge or maintain so it doesn't overcharge your battery. Has saved me from buying 2 or 3 batteries since I bought it in 2004, so I'd call it money well spent:

If you have an air compressor, then a solid impact gun is a very nice tool to have. I picked up an Ingersoll Rand 231C.

It delivers on all of the ratings, and can last you a lifetime. While my original Craftsman gun is still fully operational, I bought this one for the extra power and the ability to use a split line and run 2 guns at once (one on each side of the car). This is the one gun that I have been able to remove the crank bolt on a Honda engine without any tricks. I paid $108 for it about a year ago, but for $115 it's a steal as well.

Another plus is that they have made this gun for 10+ years and offer self rebuild kits for less than $20 that include every seal and gasket. - AB

Yeah, that's it. Next time I'm at Lowe's, I'll look for one. Are they over by the air tools?

I want to say I got mine off a clearance table. Going through the Cambell Hausfield website might be your best bet. I think mine was on sale for $40ish compared to the $60 they list it for though.

Read much, mentioned this above. Judging from the photos, I would say that the Tsunami is built a little tougher and is probably more powerful, though only basing this on the fact that its a bit bigger and cannot be plugged into the cigarette lighter, it must be clipped directly to the battery, it would probably blow the cigarette lighter fuse.
