There are lots of nasiocers who think he's totally the best driver in the world, brah! But there are plenty of people in this club alone who could do the same stuff he's doing. It's still fun to watch, though.

Well, he does sell shoes. And he makes sweet videos of drifting that all the shoe-buying kiddies love to watch. So why not combine the two and make even more money? Did you get tired of seeing Michael Jordan videos promoting Nike shoes, etc.? Cause I did.

I didn't, but that's because I love basketball and I respect his abilities. Same reason why I enjoy the Ken Block videos. I love driving and I respect his abilities. Sure, maybe not as much as some other drivers out there doing actual racing instead of drifting, but you apparently have little respect for what he does since you think "lots of other people in this club alone could do it."

Okay, now you've qualified that to "if they had his resources." That's a big leap, though, since you admit you don't even know what he's done to get to the point of being able to drive like that.

Sorry if you feel like I'm "picking on you." I'm just calling out the lack of respect you seem to think is cool to throw around just because he's been a lot over-hyped in your eyes.

And if anyone can do it, well, let's see someone step on up to the plate.

When I saw the Mika Hakkinen video it made me change my mind a bit about Ken Block. Its the same situation we see all the time...not just at the track but everywhere, talent vs money.

I'm not saying that Ken isn't talented, he can wheel for sure, but there seems to be more flash than substance in how he carries himself. Its the same reason I HATE it when football players do a 15 second dance after a touchdown...

Wow. You seriously need to take a break from the Internets.

I really don't care what you think about me, because I know what kind of person you are from reading your other threadjacks, but for anyone else who cares, I am a big fan of Ken Block - I have multiple posters on the garage walls, I watch his videos lots, and I would love to hang out with him and learn the stuff he's doing in those videos. And from what I've seen of him, he seems like a great guy, not arrogant and egotistical as others have opined.

Anyway, I'm not getting sucked into an argument with you, Donnie. I've had my Internet arguments with your kind before, and I'm done with that shit. Go argue with a wall or something. And have a nice day!

PS - You are aware that Ken Block has been racing in stage rally for a while now and just recently won 1st overall at STPR, right? I don't know if you consider stage rally "racing" but I just realized from your wording that you don't seem to actually know who he is. You should check that out - he's a pretty good race car driver, too. The drifting is the easy part - taking 1st overall at a stage rally with that many good drivers is a little more difficult.

Kevin, you already did get sucked in, so it's a little late for the high and mighty routine (particularly the "your kind" business!). But sure, if he's doing great in rally that's wonderful and not terribly surprising given his car control skills. But it's still hard to reconcile your fan-dom and the whole "many in this club could do that" attitude. That's all I'm saying. If it was that easy, well, then people in this club would be doing it.

Again, sorry if YOU feel picked on. I was just picking on what you SAID, and if you can't tell the difference, well, sorry about that. Maybe you need the break from the internet. The skin seems a little thin. *shrug*

I am going to lock this thread mostly because I think it has run its course and there is not much constructive left to say.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.
