Neal was a THSCC member and occasionally raced his modified Mustang in SM with his two sons. If you parked near him I'm sure you would have remembered him as he was the kind of guy have walked over to introduce himself and chat about your car. He was a great guy a very sincere person. I met him at his house as he was pitching his company to early investors. What struck me as incredibly cool was that after his business proposal he cut through his crowded living room to find me to have me go show him my brand new STi. That's the kind of guy he was.
My condolences to his family.

Man, I enjoyed competing with Neal in SM those years.

He'll be in my thoughts.

Wow. I don't think we had seen him at an autocross in over a year or so, but I enjoyed running with him in SM a few year back. He always had a great attitude and I always enjoyed watching him teach his sons. Hopefully they will hang on to his Mustang and come race with us again. Life is full of reminders not to take anything for granted.

That's sad news. We'll keep him and his family in our prayers.

I don't know what to say. I recall talking to him a few times about his Mustang, and he seemed like a good guy.

What a shame, he was such a nice guy. He took pictures for me during my first AX in Sanford. I think he taught taught all of his kids how to drive with "dad's mustang."

RIP SM 87
