well, the challenge cars are suppose to come with one of these, but the old owner doens't know why it wasn't installed. It's not expensive so it looks like I will order one and add it soon.

So does anyone know anything about a-tech wheels? I got 12 of them with the car. I did a google and saw that Discount tire caries a rebranded version called MB, but they don't look exactly the same as the ones I have. The closest is the "competition" but mine have more of an outer lip and larger center bore, plus they feel like they are only 14-16 lbs, not 23-24.

well, they fit the Panoz's very well. We did a test fit on Saturday. They have the large center hub.

Sweet Marty. Do you have any pics and what size are they? Let me know and I will ask around to see if anyone knows anything about them.

Sounds like you got a good bunch of wheels.

Edit:

I am seeing the same thing as you and Ryan. They are Japanese/Chinese rims rebadged as MB Motorsport in the States. They appear to be popular with the 240SX and Z crowd.

Speaking of which, the wheels on a 350Z will fit my 99 Cobra, even with the IRS. Since I am pretty certain your bolt pattern is the same as mine, that might open up some possibilities for you if you ever need wheels/tires. The backspacing was a little closer than the stock type wheels, but they worked just fine.

Yeah, the new edge Mustang wheels fit GREAT on 240's. I secretly lust after the FR500 wheels for my 240

What size are they Marty? I am going to guess 17x9 +28

I know a guy who will make you any wheel you want. A set of Classics would look pretty money on that car.

Marty,

LOL, I have a set of those sitting in the back of my truck now. They are Morris' and I borrowed them when I corded my slicks this weekend. So, since these are the rims that Morris bought for track only rims, he might have more info for you. Shoot me a PM if you don't have his email address. Here are a few pics:

Your look to be a lighter version than Morris'.
