I was there. Too many red cars :)

As you can see, this year the event was held at the Marina airport, a former military base. In the past it's been held on golf courses, which provide a much nicer ambiance than the airport. Unfortunately, Concorso signed a multi-year contract to use the airport: one exhibitor said it was two years, while a local high school auto shop teacher who was directing traffic in the car corrals said 5 years. Hope this doesn't mess up future participation and attendance. (The teacher said that local autocross clubs use the site, which is huge, and his students are involved in setting up sites and autocross event administration. Hmmm)

Enough griping. If you like Italian cars, and Italian restaurant music, this is the place to be in mid-August. My favorites were the Ferrari 550/575 Maranellos, but the DuPont Registry display was very impressive, with two Maserati MC-12s, two Veyrons, one F50 and one Enzo. Several WW II (trainer) aircraft were on display. Over in the car corrals I found a BMW 503, a Tesla, a DeLorean, two GT-Rs, a Pacer X, and the Ecurie Ecrappe/Autodenta 24 Hours of Lemons Alfa Spyder

The on-site Kruse auction was a Barnum and Bailey affair, as usual, but in addition to 25 Hertz Mustang Convertibles (see the top right of the 2nd photo Matt posted), they had a lime green '68 428 Cobra Jet Torino and a Boss 302.

I guess I'm going to have to load up my trip pictures and videos somewhere. Recommendations?
