Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

I am just giving Steve a hard time. ;) Nothing like stirring the pot on one forum and then boasting about it on another forum. I really must have been a slow day for him.

does he know about cummins? or the fact that the bmw x535d is going o have a straight six CRD motor, with 416 lbs torque.. gas i6 motors, i think are fine.. our explorer has a 4l v6, and at 4k lbs is no lightweight..
it does ok, but with $4 a gallon gas, maybe a 6 is what the doctor ordered.
our explorer does not even see 20 mpg on most days.. and it is a 6.

power is fun, always will be.. however, in big trucks fuel starts becoming a real factor. I think looking at what he wants to do with it, is going to determine what he ends up getting in the long run.

what do you guys know about the old 6.5l turbo idi chevy suburban diesels? we are looking at them, and are doing research at the moment, we are learning the v6 explorer is a great truck, but the transmission is not up to towing in the hills... she has let go on us once already, with a camping trailer in the mountains.. we are very freindly with Cottman transmissions on capitol blvd.On the upside, they do good work,

Cline -- a light blue Mini with a large dent in the back sporting your agency's decals (and a THSCC logo) was spotted last night in Danville. Did you sell your old one to a guy that is using it as a track ho?

You know how people fix up old GM cars to look like Dale Earnhardt's car, same thing here. I imagine there are some big ole fat women with CHA logo tatoo's also!

Seriously, I sold the salvage to Dan Zipkin who owns Grassroots Garage in High point or Kernersville. He is going to make it a track car to highlight all the mods he can put on a mini. He told me he was going to keep some of my stuff on it. This is the second spotting I have heard of!
