Yep...got one for 52 in a 35. Not gonna argue that I may/may not have been speeding. I was and I got careless. Here's the deal. The cop who wrote me up never had me sign the ticket or any of the copies. Is that enough to have the ticket thrown out? Either way, I'll be dropping by campus tomorrow and getting some advice.

Not in VA its not. If they forget to make you sign it there the ticket is no good. Of course I have only heard of that happening once or twice in all my years. Course if you refuse to sign it, they take you to jail.

I have been told that the ticket can be ammended to correct any errors or omissions up to the point that you are convicted or aquited for the offense. I would suggest asking for a reduction from the DA or get a lawyer to do it.

No I am not hammered.
