OK it's a bit of a bait and switch
But there could be some free beer in your future if you want to put in the effort. We'll get to that in a minute.
The real reason for this posting is that this year is going to be my second year riding my bicycle in the Eastern NC MS 150 ride in New Bern NC. I'd like ask for your help in raising money to support this great charity. I'm shooting to raise $500 this year and I'd appreciate all the help I can get. If just sending in a donation doesn't seem like enough or if you just want to ride a ridiculously long way (I'm signed up to ride 100 miles each day), I invite you to join my team. I'll be riding with Team Hibernian, yes of Irish pub fame. The team has been riding for 4 years now and is one of the largest teams in NC. As title sponser the Hiberian pub does a great job of supporting the team with couple of events at the restaurants and a welcome dinner on Friday in New Bern on the weekend of the ride. They also supply a free cycling jersey with a cool Guinness Toucan logo on it when you sign up for the team.
So about that free beer. Well one of the other teams that rides is sponsered by Carolina brewery and they show up in New Bern with multiple kegs and hand out free beer on Saturday after the days ride
. So if your willing to help out this great cause just sign up to ride and the free beer will be yours.
