You're going to Hyperfizzle? Are you going drifting or driving in the rollover event?

Yes, it is the fourth race weekend for us. Let's hope I am not part of either of those events. There are 17 Camaro-Mustang Challenge participants in the Thunder group. We will have our own green flag. With 60-65 cars in Thunder, getting a clean qualifying lap will be tough.

I am not expected to be much of a threat based upon lack of comparable experience on that track and last years results. Well, last year the car was 20% down on power and as for experience; that is where autocross comes in.

A couple of guys asked me if my road racing experience helped when they found out I took the Camaro to an autocross. I said "no". It is a one-way street. Autocross lessons and experience has helped me greatly in road racing. And if I can go to an autocross and figure out the course after a few course walks a road course is not that intimidating

You see, it IS true; If autocross was any easier they'd call it roadracing!

I will disagree with that statement. Roadracing is far more mentally and physically taxing than autocross. I have been running potential races in my head for the past two weeks. And when you figure in the car prep, it is no comparison.

I am not putting down autocross, hell I had the shakes after the runs at Sanford in the Camaro.

I know, I know. Remember, I live with someone who's smoked the HPDE crack pipe, and ax and roadracing are apples and oranges.

I was just making a joke, based on the bumper sticker. :P

Now back to our regularly scheduled program. And, good luck at Summit Point!
