Yeah, I'm up for that... I'm into the grand am series. I just wish they would continue to split out the DP cars. When they cover a combined race on Speed, the dang DP cars get all the coverage. I'm into the GT race myself since I can relate to that a little better. It would be a frosty day in he!! when I'm able to drive a DP car. At least I can dream towards a GT ride....

I like seeing the DP and GT combination....that is the world I race in. CMC is out there with the GT classes in the Thunder group. It does not take long for the GT cars to catch us.

I want the split only from the point of view of watching it on TV. They always focus on the DP cars and will show the GT cars if there's a contention for what ever position. From what I can tell, it's about 75% coverage DP, 25% GT. That's my frustration. I will admit, that the slower GT traffic can come into play for the DP drivers when it's down to the final few laps that makes the combo interesting.

I like the different classes too. When the original ALMS series began, this was one of the things that they kept from the original European series. I like watching the faster cars staying off of the "racing line" and having to make awkward passes.

You should see it from the inside of the car. The trouble is, it is never just one car. By the time the third car is along side, you are having to drive the awkward line. It does not faze them to have a $8000 Camaro off line door to door with their $80000 car :D

NASA-MA starts the GT class cars about one half a lap behind us. By the time they get pass the Honda Challenge cars, the GT cars don't have much patience. It does make for great spectating though.

When your pit crew gear includes a hammer and dolly, you know that you're having fun!

Well, if the stars align I'm hoping to run my RSX in the WCTC race at VIR this year. I would have probably run a few more MX-5 Cup races if it weren't for the Playboy thing, but since I can't do that I'm looking at other possibilities. We had the RSX built by folks that built WC RSX's back in the day, and some still think it's a good car to have. I'm planning to go to Texas at least once and maybe twice for two days of coaching with Saini, and I have two days scheduled now of coaching at VIR with Don Knowles (and hope to get a little bit more than that before that WC race).

Also currently trying to find a car for Saini and I for at least one and maybe two Grand Am GS races. He *has* to run Mazda products per his WC deal, so that's making it interesting, but hopefully we can get into something. Well, I take that back...I know we can get in to *something*, but we're trying to get into something *good*.

With any luck I can also get some time down at CMP here soon with Brian Smith for some coaching. Definitely looking good for me to do the One Lap this year, so I'll be wanting some time down there...
