Saturday is good for me- let me know the plan if it develops. I vote for someplace without too many roots!

I wanted to go to beaver dam tomorrow. It's not the smoothest trail Carl. Any other suggestions?

I have a suggestion...Carl needs to buy a suspension fork! The whole point of mountain biking is to ride ANYTHING the forest can throw at you. There are some paved "trails" over in Raleigh if you want to tool around. ;)

I'm riding tomorrow at 2:00 with a couple of guys.

Through Umpstead from Glenwood/Duraleigh/Ebinezer area to Trenton Trail and back.

Gimme a call in the AM if interested.

Yeah. Beaver Dam is fine, I've never been there before. What time?

Thanks for your support, Donnie. ;-) I'll probably buy another bike at some point reasonably soon, since the forks I've looked at seemed to cost almost as much as a whole bike, at least as much as I want to pay for a whole bike.

Let me know if you want to ride on Sunday. I was going to try Crabtree.

Now that I think about it, you probably would not like me anymore if I took you on the long loop at beaver dam. How about we meet at crabtree at 1230? I have to be back home by 1400.

It's right along 40 off Trenton Road. Trenton and Reedy Creek run into one another at the east Umstead entrance.

At old Reedy Creek road. Near Rocky Road. Just give me a call if you need to.

Ah, I ride there all the time. I will start there today and ride along 40 to harrison then cut over to sludge and take it to crabtree and meet Carll. I ride back on the gravel roads through umstead. It's a pretty good loop.
