Please, please do not tint the rear lights and paint the calipers. If you're going to do that, then go ahead and put that 4 foot wing you've been dreaming about ;) - ABh

Hey man, don't forget the Adidas visor. Worn sideway, of course.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

man, that is funny...i had to go to Phantasm to get the taillight tint...LOL...it felt dirty...the multitude of clear head and tail lights, combined with all the body kits, next to the 15 million shift knobs and stickers...ahhhhhhhhhhhh

they give out free stickers with all purchases...i actually thought about getting one, putting it on for some "hahaha" pictures...

anyway, back to flaming...i'm waiting for a photochopped picture of my car with a flame job, cf hood and a couple of rear mid wings and a whale tale.

True, but there is a slight difference. I don't daily drive the car anymore, and when I do, that exhaust isn't on there ;) Obviously, I'm having fun with you, so don't get too worked up :D - AB

no worries...when i first saw your post, i was so enraged at your most obscene personal attack on my sense of style and personal hygene, that i started googling for things like 'hit man', 'deadly virus' and 'ankle biting robotic fleas'...but then i read it again and realized that you were just kidding...LOL...

ummm, if a guy named lester shows up at your house with a can that looks like hair gel and an old dog, please tell him the code word, "lumberg", and he'll leave you alone..thx

Chris,

Incase you're wondering what the calipers look like freshly cleaned and painted...
oh and clean the rust off the rotors and paint the hub of those to complete
the rice affect. Here is an example.

Thanks Kevin. My digital camera is about 5+yrs old and doesn't take very good pictures. From more than a few feet away the tires/rims just blend and there is no detail. We took some with my daughters 35mm and I'll scan those when they come back. It makes the car look different.

Chris. I took a heavy wire brush on my drill to the rotor hubs and cleaned them with Naval Jelly. That got all the rust off them. I was having them turned and replacing my pads so it was a good time to do it. That rusty center shows up really easy with open wheels. The calipers I sprayed with brake cleaner and then a medium and fine wire brush. The small ones that look like a tooth brush. That got all the brake dust off. The painted calipers and hub makes a nice contrast with the black wheels. I got some Aluminum caliper paint from NAPA for $6/can. Requires no primer. You just need to do it when it is warm outside. I did it over that weekend where it was 70 degrees so it set nicely. 2 to 3 light coats and good to go. Take a closeup picture in bright sunlight and show us how they came out.
