Just saw this on another forum, thought I'd share. This is what I imagine giving my sister a ride around our rallyx course would be like. Christine and I laughed so hard we cried.

OK, that was funny even without sound! I'm guessing that if I had acted like that on my first fun run with Todd, he would have never suggested that I come out to race!

Eric Peterson can vouch for this, but while I can't name names or locations or anything, I can say that I have actually had someone FAR WORSE than that ride with me. It was about a one minute lap. The screaming started as I revved the engine a LITTLE before leaving for the start. It continued NON STOP through the entire ride. It did not end for AT LEAST 30 seconds after I came to a complete stop from the lap. It was, without a doubt, the strangest experience I've had just taking someone for a ride. You would have thought there was a siren IN my car. I honestly wasn't sure if the passenger was okay or not at the end. I was warned that would happen to some extent, but the degree of it could not be imagined until it was experienced. I was honestly worried that the passenger in question might have soiled my seat.

I was in my 911 Turbo, but this was really before I had much in the way of racing experience at all. Since I'm not much of a driver now, imagine how bad it was then!

With mine it was funny for the first fifteen seconds or so. After that, Rebecca nailed it.

I've begged my sister (with no luck so far) to come take a ride with me on just ONE AX run hoping to get this exact result from her. :twisted:

Now just imagine if I could get her in a car at VIR going thru the uphill esses at 100 MPH. :lol:
