long chase by the highway patrol.

Garunteed the only way they caught it was it wrapped itself around a tree. That thing hung with a Countach in a straight line....

I remember the car when it was Brown/light green. It made great sounds.

The car started life light brown. The only thing green must have been something Marty was smoking. :nana:

Another PA story.

Bob ran one of the Wilson invitational street auto-x events. The Wilson police chief rode with Bob on one run. After the run Kurt Spizner asked the chief if they could catch Bob running through their town. His reply was maybe they could using radios. This was before the days of stop sticks.

Well heck if you're gonna go old school. 73 Olds Toronado.

Now that is just wrong. There aren't many cars that handled worse than the 1971 Galaxie 500 that my father had when I got my license, but the Toronado is surely one.

Dad's car had the only manual transmission (special high-effort 3 speed column shift) installed in a full size car during the 1970s, 2 bbl 351W, 4 drum brakes with no power assist, and non-centering power steering. I am proud to say it could absolutely smoke a 1976 Caprice wagon. Unfortunately, about 2 minutes after that epic victory, I was sitting in the passenger seat of a 1975 Plymouth Fury, looking mournfully at the policeman's radar display :(

Looking at the CTS-V. The Last gen 5 Series isn't much bigger than the 3 series, so the Back seat is tight.
