Ok, a few of us have passed around out Xbox Live gamer tags. Now we need to get down to business.

I have been working my way through the Time Trails (I think there is 25 of them) and I have run about 10. I have set times with zero driver aids (ABS, traction control, etc. off, manual transmission, no line or braking point hints, etc.) and with stock setup on the car. The gauntlet has been thrown down. Someone try to beat me.

Add me to your friends list so that we can easily compare times between friends (which is pretty easy on the scoreboard screen). I think Todd has added me as a friend. Ryan, I am still waiting on you to accept my friends request. ;)

For those who don't have the game, one part of the game includes a TT section in which you have a set track and a specific car. They provide a target lap time to beat. Once you have beaten that time, you have completed that TT (you can still go back and improve your time if you want). You can change the setup of the car as well as turn on/off certain driver aids. Your best time is uploaded so you can see how you compare to other players.

In addition to the TT stuff, we need to do some head to head racing!

I havent played all week  I also have not touched the TT stuff. I have done nothing but career at this point (Level 16).

I got to mow the grass this afternoon but plan on some Forza action tonight.

Where the hell do you sign in for Xbox live.

It's pretty easy.

1. make sure you XBox is connected to the internet
2. after turning the system on, press the BIG X BUTTOn in the middle of the controller to bring up the little wing menu from the left.
3. one of the menu items on there will be "connect to XBOX LIVE"...click on that.
4. have fun beating 6 year olds in online races!!!

There must be a setting somewhere that autosigns you in as I never have to manually sign in.

What is funny is that you used to be on my friends list. When you look at your friends list it will say something like "last online 48 hrs ago" or something and I never did see it show you online ever. So I had assumed that you had let your Xbox live account expire so I removed you from my friends list. I did this just like a week ago. :?

Your account "is" active right?

Yeah my account is active and I got on last night.

My problem was that I started running Forza2 as "Player" not ecugrad97. So now my online stuff doesnt have what I have done so far. No biggie, I'll just go back and run those events again.

I ran 2 or 3 TT's last night. I tried to do it the same way you did them, NO TUNING. HOLY SHIT, that Focus was a piece of understeering shit, the 240 Driftmobile was an oversteering POS. Never got close with the stock suspension settings. I got close to you at Road Atlanta Short (.5sec), and would kick some serious ass if they would remove the penalty for running in the dirt

I'll try somemore this weekend, it is fun :)

Wait until you drive the stock Ford GT40 at the NY street track. It is the worst car I have drive yet. With those tires and brakes you have to start braking as soon as you see a trun way off in the distance. If you didn't, you just slamed into the wall at the end of the long straight.

Best brakes so far in the TT seem to be in a 911 GT3 (cup car I think). I have about 10-11 TTs to go.

I think they added the inside poles at CMP just for you Ryan. It will interesting to see how many you hit in August when we go there.

I prefer the paved portion of the track myself.

Its not my fault they chose not to pave it.

The second right hander at RA (on Forza) can be cut to death and knock some serious time off your lap.
