No on the Forester.

I really like the Outback Sport and the WRX Wagon.

What is an Impreza TS?

Here is one I REALLY like

02 Outback Sport

y no on the forester?? hater!!!! jk

Teh forester is a dang good vehicle. But with that said they are all gonna be reliable as the other. just depends on what you and her would like.

The Forester is just too "grown up" looking. Kinda like "retired granola"

The 02+ OBS will be a lot stiffer than the 01- OBS, and will be about 200 lbs or so heavier, I'm thinking. The 02+ OBS is basically a WRX without the turbo, but I think it has spacers between the subframes and the body - which will change the geometry of suspension parts. Anything that fits the WRX wagon will fit the 2.5TS (no subframe spacers). I'd go with the 2.5TS; I think they changed the name to 2.5i wagon around 05.

This one would be AWESOME.

Actually, I've got zero complaints about our '05 2.5RS. That's not true.
It's kind of slow around town. It tends to push like a pig at the limit.

Laura doesn't like the mileage.

I tell her we'll get a Prius if we can keep it and gut it. :P

Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

I am worried about the girl. First I heard she liked Mini's, then Mazda 3, now a Lesbian Mobile. I think we need to plan an intervention. I will be by tonight to force her into a Mini to rehab her.

What are you talking about, there's one in Brook Valley. Get a used one, they are no harder to work on then a Miata, well maybe a little more. It's all BMW stuff. Oh yeah, where is the Subaru dealer in town?

True about not losing value...but the value will hold for YOU too. Also, about dealerships. Cline is correct about doing little stuff yourself, but for big stuff (and the pain of it is that I know this first hand! ) if you feel it's not safe to drive, you just call Mini USA and they send a truck (no charge) and haul your little baby away to the nearest dealership. Of course, you have to go pick her up, but, nothing's perfect.
