I don't know about the "going rate" but they are proud of their product. :(

BUT . . . they WORK :)

And, as long as the company is in business, they have a no clog warranty. We have had ours since 2006 with lots of trees close to the house. Previous gutters with DIY screens were terrible. So far, so good with Leafguard.
