Adam,

There is a shop downtown that specializes in corvettes. They sponser a local corvette club. Having said that I don't know anything about them but they may be worth a call.

Tiger's Automotive Service
203 W. Johnson Street
Raleigh, NC 27603
(919) 834-6955

You may also want to try:

Atlantic Avenue Tire & Service
2131 Harrod Street
Raleigh, NC 27604
(919) 872-0786

The owner of that place is a vette guy and I know they do a fair amount of work on them. They have done some work on mine and did a custom alignment for me. I believe Graham may have got an alignment done on his there also.

one other place

100 Autumn Glen Ln
Holly Springs, NC

just drop it off and leave the keys in the car...don't be turned on by the fact that it's a residential house with kids toys in the backyard...the owner will take good care of the car

I was very pleased with the work and price I got from Rex at Happy Japs.
He's in Cary.

Adam,

FWIW I just talked with these folks. I had to schedule an appointment to get my oil pressure sending unit replaced. I mentioned your situation and they sounded as if they would be happy to perform the work you described. From my experiences their pricing and work has been very good.

I'll second Jim's recommendation of Carolina Import Works. They do great work. The "Import" name should not put you off, as illustrated by their Corvette racecars and all the work they've done on my TA.

I think Miles Beam has had a ton of work done at CIW too and highly recommended them. - AB

Take it to Carolina Imports and have Chip Stabler do the work. While you are there, you can drool over his T1 Vette....

Jim....Are you thinking about someone else? Chip Stabler is co-owner of Atlantic Auto-exchange. He doesn't have anything to do with Carolina Imports. He also doesn't have a T1 Vette, but he does have an awesome fully prepared E46 M3 track car that is very impressive!!
