OK - I am going to take the z06 back to stock this week. I just don't have the time to do it myself, so I am going to take it to a shop. I just don't know who or where.

I need the Penske shocks replaced with the stock shocks, the sway bar switched back to stock, trailer hitch/relay removed and the race hardend wheels studs returned to stock studs.

I have all of the parts except for the stock studs.

Who in my area (Fuquay) would you recommend do this work for me? I really want to sell this car, and having these items on it is preventing me from doing so.

Maybe we can have a 'return to stock day' at Mike Whitney's house/garage/lift -- I will supply the beer and food for everyone that is "better than pizza". :) anyone... Bueller? Bueller?

Thanks for your input.

Probably not gonna happen. I have a string of car projects lined up for the next month or so, and then it's baby-time for me.

Yeah - I figured that (that post was half joking). I figured with the baby due in about a month that you would be slammed with a ton of things to do.

No worries -- I would actually prefer to just pay someone to do it at this point. Life is too busy right now.

Not long ago and not far away Santa was getting ready for his annual trip, but there were problems everywhere. Four of the elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule. Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mom was coming to visit.

This stressed Santa even more. When he went to harness the reindeer he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out heaven knows where -- more stress.

And then, when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards on the sleigh cracked and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered all the toys. So, frustrated Santa went into the house for a cup of coffee and a shot of whiskey, but he found that the elves had hit the liquor cupboard and there was nothing there to drink. In his frustration he dropped the coffee pot and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw it was made from.

Just then the doorbell rang and Santa cussed on his way to the door. He opened the door and there was a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

And the angel said: Santa, where would you like to put this Christmas tree??

And that, my friend, is how the little angel came to be on top of the Christmas tree.

So, to be concise Pete, just find an Angel.

I vote no. We all enjoy jack assery in good fun, but there isn't much point in being a complete ass.

Take it to Carolina Imports and have Chip Stabler do the work. While you are there, you can drool over his T1 Vette....
