Ryan has a friend in the area that does roofing. He just did Ryan's house last week and was fast.

Call Ryan on his cell at 252-635-8095 for the info as he's in route to freaking cold-ass Michigan.

I highly recommend Tom Buzzard - all info can be found at:
http://www.tombuzzard.com/

His crew did my reroof when we moved in a year ago, and was very good. This guy's literally done half the reroofs in my 25yo neighborhood - I'm not the only one that recommends him. My place in in N. Raleigh, but I assume he'd cover Apex as well.

Tom Buzzard does good work based on the work he did for us and for the friend who recommended Buzzard to us and on the work he did in the friend's neighborhood.

Bringing back an old post.

Can anyone recommend a good roofer that would do work in Apex near Jordan Lake? I'll check out Tom Buzzard as suggested above.

I've got a shingle that has come loose, on the highest part of my house where I don't have a ladder to go that high. And I don't really want to be up that high either. :)

I'd like to get that fixed, and also get the whole roof checked out in general. The house is only 4 years old, so I wouldn't have expected this shingle to slip like this one has (like it just slid out from under the shingle above it, not blown and ripped by the wind or something.

I want to go ahead and get it done, because I can see daylight through a seam in the plywood in the attic where that shingle has come off.

Given the amount of roof work needed due to the storms, Buzzard may not be a quick choice right now.

I suggest calling your insurance company to see who they suggest since they have a vested interest in "no water damage" to your house or contents. :D

I would think that the tar paper under the shingles would have blocked out the light... I agree though, you ought to get a roofer out to look at it.

I agree, which makes me even more worried about what I'm going to find out when someone gets up there and looks at it.
