Sure, he should be able to drive a car with a manual transmission.

Did I miss something? IIRC, the DB5 has always been a manual transmission and the DBS is supposed to be a manual as well.

Apparently Daniel Craig can't drive a manual tranny car. Even one with the flappy paddles!! So they had to build a special car with an automatic!!!

Not according to the IMDB FAQ:

I haven't seen the movie, so I don't know what the evidence is that it wasn't a manual. I don't know if I would trust the IMDB FAQ information over other reports. Obviously the car in Bond movies is a marketing exercise for Aston Martin. And with the entire Machismo aspect of James Bond, I doubt that the Studio or Aston Martin want to say that "James Bond can't drive a stick".

I do remember watching some TV show awhile back about a previous Bond movie in which the stunt cars were Aston shells with other running gear in them.

Here is a mention of Die Another Day ...

http://www.astonmartins.com/vanquish/vanquish_007.htm

It mentions in the fourth paragraph about four stunt cars that used various Ford parts bin stuff to build a four wheel drive car (Mustang V8s with Explorer running gear).

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Agreed on the IMDB FAQ but here's another article:
http://www.usatoday.com/life/columnist/ ... word_x.htm

FWIW, he mentioned in a video interview on 5th Gear (last week, I think) that he crashed one of the Astons supplied for the movie (that wasn't intended to be crashed) by going "a little too fast". Dunno if that is a good or a bad thing...

This is early Stephen Chow (Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer)
There is no menu, the movie just starts. Also the subtitles are in the film, not added by the player, and they sometiomes creep off the screen. This thing looks like it was taped from a seat in the theatre.
But all that said, it is funny as long as you pay attention to the dialogue and the screen action.

The Count of Monte Cristo

A fun movie if not entirely faithful to the book. Besides, it has Luis Guzman as the sidekick, what more could you want?

Boondock Saints.
Excellent low budget flick. They just showed it on Spike, but it is way better unedited.
Two Irish brother get that little push that turns them into the Hand of God, ridding Boston of evil.

Layer Cake

Just finished watching it. It's got the new Bond, Daniel Craig, in it.

Very entertaining, Definitely check it out. Some great twists.
