did I miss if you sold the Miata or Not?

Nope, I'll be hanging on to it for the forseable future. I will most likely be de-modding it thought to make it a more cushy daily driver.

BTW, how did my thread about my new car turn into a track discussion?! I don't even do track! :D

Dibs on the GO fast engine parts!!

and you now have a GREAT track car...get it out there, or start wearing large gold chains.

If someone comes out with a wax that works equally well to shine IROCs, Corvettes, mullets and chest hair, he'll make a fortune.

Freakin' sweet Les!

There aren't too many cars these days that are FTP and fastest raw time capable. Don't let me down. 8)

Well, Rob Harvey bought the FSAE car from me, so I fully expect to see him regularly getting FTRaw from now on. Well, he's gonna do some work to it, so starting with the first event of 2007. ;)

Probably a good move to sell that car. You probably won't have time to mess with it once you begin your ad campaign for president.

Oh that was only one small diversion Les. It'll get better. You didn't think a THSCC forum topic was going to stay on track (ha I said track again!) did you? Think you're special cause you gotta Vette, you ain't! You should have bought the Camry

Now are you going to run those new cheater Azenis tires on it?
Will you be running in TIR class?
Will you be allowed to park it under the new bus awning?
Use the new generator to power a buffer so you can wax between runs?
Get real trophy for FTP raw and pax instead of a fridge magnet?

Donnie Barnes for President :!: :!: :!:

I should have just bought more Zaino and Gold Chains. It would be a lot cheaper than track...

Btw, I'll have that DVD copy for you by tomorrow.

I can say with certainty that Donnie Barnes will *not* be president of this club.

:stick:

I think that Donnie will stand almost no chance of being elected THSCC President after the release of my new book: "Bad Stuff About Donnie Barnes." This book combines both fact and fiction to paint an even worse image of Donnie than he's already done for himself :-) My book is going to make the beating John Kerry got from the Swift Boat Vietnam Veterans group and the mauling George Bush took over his National Guard duty in the last election look like a bake sale compared to grisly stories that will be aired in this book!

Just a quick preview from Chapter 48, page 852....."I paid for Donnie's lunch at the Arby's off of Exit 113 on I-64 West in Kentucky on the trip to the Peru National Tour in July of 2003, he says thanks for lunch I'll pay you back later and he never did." Please let the record show that he ordered a Beef & Cheddar, Large Fries, Jamocha Shake, and Large Coke for $7.82." Thanks Donnie for ripping me off, now neither of my daughters will ever go to college, I hope you enjoyed that lunch you damn freeloader.

Chapter 18....Topeka Pro Solo, April 2003, Donnie comes back in after his first run and says the car is "pushy", I go out on my first run and find out the car is actually loose.

I think I've made my case as these two horrific examples provide everyone a small glimpse into what the real Donnie Barnes is like. I hope Barnes doesn't even get one (1) vote for President, which is possible because I know he will not be voting for himself :-)

Thanks for asking Scott. Much to Chris' dismay Anna is two days past due. Chris is ready to birth that baby :-) Other than feeling a little uncomfortable, Chris is feeling really good...and she has not yelled at me, so we are doing well. We'll post a notice whenever Anna decides to make her entrance.

Eric
