Not sure about everywhere else... but I'm pretty dissapointed in the whole thing LOL

We got more rain last week and the day before than we did last night. decent amount of wind and tree limbs here in New Bern, but AFAIK no power outages... heck, I never even lost satellite signal ! LOL

I managed to lose power over by me. Traffic was a mess - lots of traffic lights out and people driving into each other...

Wanna come fix my broken window in Raleigh? Of all the storms, I can't believe this one got me. Its a minor inconvenience, but a little ironic given all the storms I've been through while in Charleston.

We drove back from Corolla yesterday, cutting our vacation short by one day. The street we were staying on was flooded at both ends, with no way of getting out except through at least a foot of water. We saw several groups of people wading through nearly knee-deep water, pushing their station wagons or minivans to higher ground, and then struggling to get them started. If we hadn't taken the SUV we would have been SoL.

Not too bad of a drive through the rain, though. 158 South through Nags Head had some big puddles, but nothing of consequence. 64 from Roanoke Island to I-40 was fine. That was late yesterday afternoon. Probably got worse overnight.
