Canes Game 7 tonight

Anyone else going to be there for the game tonight? I was lucky enough to get one ticket to game 2 (gave it to my dad for fathers day) and one ticket to game 7 (keeping this for myself

).

Anyone else?

I won't be in the game, but I will be in the parking lot watching it out of the back of my truck....if anyone else is tailgating and not going in, feel free to swing by. I am usually on the east side of Carter Finley.

I'll be attending in spirit with a beer(s) in hand on the comfort of my couch or on one of the Upper Deck barstools.

Hopefully the Canes will have a better offense than the last two games and not get bullied around as much.

Now THAT was an intense game, all the way up to the empty net goal!! Last 2 games they weren't really skating and it looked horrible. 1st period they came out and knew what they were doing.

On a side note, I absolutely despise what NBC is trying to do. They aren't a sports channel and they proved it last night by cutting off the game before all the team was able to pass around the cup and any of the closing statements were done. Stupid network. Wonder what's going to happen to the NFL.

Looks like your seats were much better than mine (or at least your camera is). We were up in 316 where we had been sitting since the beginning of the playoffs. What a neat chance to witness some sports history!

The City of Raleigh is staging a celebration and parade for the Carolina Hurricanes. The parade is scheduled to begin at Noon at St. Mary's School and travel down Hillsborough St to a large stage at the State Capitol Building (Hillsborough and Salisbury), where there will be speeches and other presentations by players and officials.
