I'm pissed that CBS is airing it opposite the Indy 500!!! Not only do I have to flip between the two, but we have to listen to the idiots at CBS instead of the guys at Speed.

How many KERRRRRBBBBS can one CRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAASHHHHHH into at Monaco anyway? Derek Daly has exactly the same number of podiums, poles, wins and fastest laps that I do in F1.

I agree the CBS folks are lame compared to speed channel announcers. I also hate the fact that when its not real time video the telemetery thats available from speed channel is usless or at least not as entertaining. Its really neat to watch the race and get the real time telemetery on your computer. I usually put the laptop in front of me on the coffee table while I'm watching the race. Nascar charges for that service but its free with F1.

I only saw the last fifty laps of the Indy 500 (I was racing myself here in lovely Kershaw, SC), but the announcing was horrible, I thought. Hard to beleive, but NASCAR announcing spoils you. These guys had no idea if a "splash and go" would cause a driver to go a lap down or not. They had no idea that teams were going to do tires and not just fuel. They didn't bother with anything other than the top few cars after that last caution as far as a rundown (an audible one would have been nice...at least the lead lap or so with three to go).

Sucky, sucky, sucky.

And the 500 was in standard definition for the masses too. Thanks, ABC. At least CBS got rid of Derek Daly...

The 500 was one of the better ones from the past few years. I still can't believe that Marco almost won it.

Awww come guys, lets give it up for DC's podium finish. It was also Red Bulls first podium too (I think).

It's been a long time between drinks for David, but there was no interview for second and third, that sucked.

So, I finally got around to watching the Monaco F1 race. I love my DVR! Gotta give it up for DC for hitting th podium. Nice job by the Bed Bull guys. Alonso had the race wrapped up by the time he got to the first corner. Typical Monaco. Schumacher passed a ton of cars to get 5th. Not too shabby.

Danny Sullivan, the last American to score a point at Monaco, didn't know why some guys had 12 second stops and others did 7 seconds. Then he was surprised when the 7 second guys had to stop for fuel again later in the race. Amazing!

I should have just waited for Speed Channel's coverage 12:00 Friday night/Saturday morning.
