Well, when I got to the rallyX setup yesterday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised to see cool new graphics on the trailer. On each side are 2
pictures each of autocross, rallycross, and track. IIRC they were done in a "film strip" format, with the pix all in a line and a black border with perforations, like old-time film cameras used. ;-) Above and below was a real big vinyl "Tarheel Sports Car Club" and some other stuff, including about a 2' diameter club logo. Also a big logo on each rear door. I'm sorry I can't recall exactly what the layout was, as I was mostly scrutinizing the rallyX photos... :-) And that sweet one of Marcus coming around the last turn of last event's afternoon course was on it! Yeah- good choice! Another looked to be Christine driving the silver car. On the other side were shots of Andrew Frick in his Scirocco rally car, and what appeared to be Kent Davis driving Kevin Hoff's 2.5RS.

Then, as I said, there were some pictures of the other stuff too, though I didn't notice who anyone was. Oh, that shot of Ryan holding everyone up was one of the track pix. ;-)

I don't think much had been done to the bus yet, but I did notice there was another 2' diameter club logo, in mirror-image, on the hood.

Pretty dang cool!

All the graphics were supposed to be *on the bus*, but the gelcoat's condition prohibits adhesion of the vinyl so all the stuff was moved to the trailer. Still look pretty good though IMO.

Glad you noticed the mirror image on the hood. I thought that was a cool idea.

Honestly a description doesn't really do it justice, so maybe Kevin will post pictures sometime soon for the rest of you to see. Otherwise you have to wait until Danville or you can see them in person at the Rally-X tomorrow.

Bring it...to the track! You'll be amazed how fast a 106HP car will catch you. Of course they don't allow you to "hack it up" on track...w/o a black flag that is. :wink:
