Where is everyone getting their "Top Ten" lists from?? Anyone care to publish actual links?
National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) list for 2005 (using data from 2004?)
http://www.nicb.org/public/newsroom/hot ... elease.cfm
1. 1995 Honda Civic
2. 1989 Toyota Camry
3. 1991 Honda Accord
4. 1994 Dodge Caravan
5. 1994 Chevrolet Full Size C/K 1500 Pickup
6. 1997 Ford F150 Series
7. 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup
8.
1990 Acura Integra
9. 1988 Toyota Pickup
10. 1991 Nissan Sentra
Doesn't mention which Integra.
Same NICB source, but with NC data...
http://www.nicb.org/public/newsroom/hot ... areaid=6#6
1. 1996 Honda Accord
2. 2000 Honda Civic
3. 1996 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee
4. 1998 Ford Explorer
5. 1994 Toyota Camry
6. 1997 Ford F150 Series
7. 1996 Ford Taurus
8. 1994 Dodge Caravan
9. 1994 Ford Ranger
10. 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier
NICB seems to be the most quoted that I can see. Apparently National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also publishes a list, but their web site sucks and/or is slow and I can't find it. Another company (CCC) seems to be quoted, but I can't find a list on their site.
From what I have read, you can take these lists with a grain of salt as every published list is different, so how data is gathered and reported is probably pretty different from source to source.
