Anybody know whether the Wake County hazardous waste disposal process for antifreeze requires I leave my own containers at the dump, or is there a "vat" to pour the antifreeze into?

You don't have to leave the container there. They have the vat of which you speak 8)

Yes. I drove up with a trunk full of old containers of stuff (oil, paint, brake fluid, anti-freeze, etc) and didn't even get out of the car. People in hazardous waste clothing removed everything for me.

I've used the one off Durant Road (North Wake County). Like Chris said they're really good and help you get the stuff unloaded or do it for you. They told me if it came out of my car I could bring it to them. I've dropped off oil, trans/ps fluid, coolant, brake fluid, and diff fluid.
