i saw something that blew my mind away one day,..
a tow truck(big) was dragging a big rig that would not start around a parkling lot, trying to pull start it(how do you push start a 80,000 pound big rig) ... only the tranny was locked in gear, and the wheels would not turn, i dont know if they were trying to unlock it by pulling it and turning the wheels.. i dont really know, anyway, the truck was dragging the lorry with all 18 wheels locked up.. no dice.. a sputter or two but nothing really lit.. then, when they ran out of lot space, the truck went around the corner and drug the front of the lorry around like a toy..
then pulled on.. dragging the lorry around the lot like it weighed as much as only a small vw bug.. impressive.. it really showed me that a big turbodiesel engine and a strong transmission, it is hard to out pull a turbodiesel.. with better mileage and grunt, im not quite sold that i want a diesel car myself yet, but for working machines.. a very popular option i think.. especially with syncrude from canda inviting our reliance on mid east oil to cease and talk to them about sales, and bio-diesel saying that we can make our own fuel by supporting our local farmers, which after living in wilson for a while... would be such a great thing i think.. the people out there are really hurting..
