I need new tires for my Passat, the orginal Size is 195.65.15

I was thinking of either a 205.55.15 or a 215.55.15, and of you VW guys have a suggestiong on what is a good upgrade for a 2000 passat with stock 15 inch rims?

Thanks

The 215 will be closer to stock diameter, but my guess is that they're 6" rims, which would look kind of odd for a street tire. Is the OEM size too expensive?

Nah, I just have heard some people have went +1 on the tire size and the cars manners have improved.

205/60/15 would probably be the best size to for you, only 7mm diff in overall height, and offered in hundredes of tires
