ha yeh, its no 400hp Camaro SS *looks at PJ*

Rob, i heard you installed an Xbrace and somethign else. will you be running BSP?

Mike, BS?

I'm trying to figure out where to run. the car has Bilsteins and H&R springs and an Xbrace so i'm out of stock. Before i read the rules i was happy thinking itd be STX so i could finally woop PJ. But then i read it was specifically excluded and bumped to STU. boo i dont wnat to hang out w/ those guys :P.

So i can find some stock springs and remove the Xbrace and run BS in tire or something w/ PJ.. or.. what else?

I'M SORRY TO BE GAY AGAIN but its fun competing w/ your roommate :P

Bah, bring it to STU.

Kevin is going to dominate us all anyway with his camber bolts.

I would love to see you convince Whitney he needs to drive in STU as well ;)

well the rules of STU are perfect for me. all the easy/cheap/fun mods on cheap street tires. we'll see i guess. Or i can do all of that and run BSP w/ Rob but he'll own me w/ R comps probably. Or i can go BS and use that limit my mod-mania.. but man thats no fun. although it probably would be wise for awhile while i learned the car.

any of you M3s guys do the 'swap front strut hat' trick for more camber? i'm looking for some insider M3/BMW tips :)

oh and the clutch delay valve looks to be interesting. once i get used to the car i think ill delete that sucker. supposed to feel better and improve clutch life w/ it gone

DO you mind me asking why you decided to go with an M3? Is this a car in addition to or replacing the R32?

The R32s proved to be very capable this year. Just wondering if the car did something to tick you off ;)

so yeh, at the moment i have both cars, but i expect the R32 to sell within the month.

Congrats on the new purchase Dan. In regards to STU, you'll need to remove the cross brace to be legal. Ian Stewart won a Tour in his only to be protested for the cross brace. It was ruled that there is no factory documentation that showed that the cross brace was a standard or optional item on the e36 hardtop.

It is, IIRC, legal for BSP.

Here is a link to the ruling with the SCCA:

Check the last paragraph of the Solo section under 'Notice'. - AB

Bring it to STU - I bet you'll beat at least a few STi's with it. I don't want it to be "Spec STi class" next year.

Run it in STU or BS. Depends if you can deal with keeping the car fairly stock or not. I know you are mod happy so STU would probably be best. You will have a lot of fun with that car, good luck selling the R32.

S-W-E-E-T!!!!

Let the games begin!!

Come on man....BSP has your name written all over it. If you want run against PJ as well, then offer him a co-drive. That would be too cool!!!

Leave the mods on the car (you haven't listed anything that isn't BSP legal). Besides, you'll love having them there when you take the car on track.
