Is there a place locally where I can get harness clips that snap onto eyebolts? I also need a couple of longer eyebolts. I would assume I could find those at just about any hardware store.

The image below is what I am looking for if it isn't clear.

Thanks,

Chris

Those (local hardware store type) aren't the kind of eyebolts you want Chris. The "loop" isn't fully closed as it's bent to that shape.

you might try Autosport Gallery and a few others, but that stuff doesn't tend to show up locally.

I've got some bolt-in hardware around, and maybe some spare 2" H sliders, as well as SCCA spec backing plates (if you are going to be drilling any holes).

I might also have a few eye-bolts, but would need to be at home to check.

I realize the bent over ones aren't acceptable. I was hoping that a hardware store may have had the type I need. I guess you are saying that likely isn't the case. So am I SOL for finding this stuff anywhere around the Triangle?

Thanks Scott. I will give autosport a call. Let me know what you have laying around at home.

Chris:

BFI (see Ligon, Adam) got me those very same clip ins. While they may not have them in stock, I think they can get them pretty quickly for you.

Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

Chris, I think I may also have some of this hardware at home. I can check tonight.

Thanks everyone for your help. I believe Autosport has everything I need. I will post back if I still need any more hardware.

Chris,
Solid ring eye bolts can be purchased at most Marine Hardware stores, i.e. West Marine, Boats US etc.. They will be rated in hundreds and or thousands of pounds test depending on the size.. If you can't find them around here I can pick some up when I go down to the coast.

Glad to see that two local shops, who are supporters of the Club, were mentioned and that they had the stuff on hand!

See? It pays to use our sponsers and advertisers!!!

Well, now I feel like an ass. I got both my eye bolts and the clip ends from Pegasus Racing.

I deserve to be beat for doing so! :whip:
