GlaxoSmithKline matches employee gifts from $25 to $10,000 (per year). Unfortunately, only employees are eligible, so I'm not sure how this would work, unless you don't care if your $10,000 is in my name

Verizon actually has a quite good employee match program. Sort of enables employees to run their own "Make a Wish" fund. For Katrina designated contributions to the ARC, the Verizon Foundation will add twice the amount that the employee donates. Last number I saw had total contributions in excess of $3.3M with over 9,000 employees participating.

You get the idea. Charity doesn't need a name or a face to make it charitable.

I'm not doing this for a tax break - I have plenty of those lined up for this year.
