Saw one of those at the drag strip last night along with 2 WRX STIs. Damn those things can move...

Diane whatever were you doing at a dragstrip? A few weeks away from our guiding influence and you are hanging out at dragstrips. :whoknows: Whatever could you be thinking?

Just kidding.

Seriously, if those horsepower and torque numbers are real it's enough to make me think about a Neon again.

I still one one.....even more now. No way I'm going to pay 3K over sticker for a NEON though.

Friend's got a '68 Chevelle he wanted to run before he tore it down and rebuilt it this winter. I thought it'd be fun to go along. And I'm running pretty low on my "car fixes" recently.

I'm driving an MR2Turbo at an autocross this weekend though (2 days even)... does that help make up for my drag strip indiscretions?

Be sure to let us know how magnetized you get, Spindarella.

I didn't get magnatized at all! :nana: A little sideways a couple of times, but no spins. I know, I know... not driving it hard enough. At Sunday's event I was only ~4 seconds behind the car owner on a 65ish second course. Not bad for a car I've now driven for only 9 runs. BTW... those things are FUN!

On Saturday I got a chance to drive a CM car... now that was a hoot. :woo: Too bad I didn't get it figured out till 2/3 through the run. Hopefully I'll get another chance at it sometime. It's Tyson and Stacey Sawyer's current car, for those of you who remember them and their blue Neon from ProSolos several years ago.

Just saw one tonight. Bright red. Doesn't look like hte Neon that I was thinking of. Did Dodge try to copy the WRX or something? Not to offend the WRX gang or anything.
