I personally think our bus is worthy of some hot figure eight racing action!

Of course, we should probably have a replacement ready *first*. I do volunteer to drive the bus in the figure eight race once we're ready for that.

Donnie you have to pay your bus driving dues before you get to figure eight race it. I figure Ron Spencer has first dibs since he not only drove the bus but stored it at his house for a year. Then I'm guessing that I'd be in line behind him unless one of the really unlucky folks who drove it to VMP wants to step up.

You haven't really fully utilized all the benefits of your THSCC membership until you've had the priviledge of driving the bus to Laurinburg in July. And oh my look, we just happen to have a bus driver spot open for the July event.

Actually, I was just joking about needing a bus driver, I was planning on drivng the bus myself since I have to be at setup on Friday anyway. I can't believe that I've had 2 different offers to help with the bus since I posted this, it's very nice of you guys.

Thanks anyway.

Shawn

Yeah, they just want to get on the Figure 8 drivers list... :angeldevil:

Dustin for President in 2005! He embodies the club spirit (ie does the things that no one else wants to)! Is he good at grovelling and spending money? Those are the only other requirements.

Mike <- who can laugh about it now

Laugh while you can, Whitney boy. Both Kurt Spitzner and Mike Dishman were dragged back into the presidency just when they thought they had escaped forever. But there's nothing to worry about. I'm sure Shawn will want to re-up.
(Note to self - call Whitney's boss and arrange for him to be in Kalamazoo the week of the November club meeting.)

Now that bus in the photo looks a lot like our bus before we painted it. OK, all decomissioned GMC school buses look a lot alike. Nevertheless, I think we should launch an investigation into what Blair Stitt did with the bus before he sold it to the club.

Art, I don't believe it - a Mustang driver who can paraphrase from "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai (Across The Eighth Dimension)."

Hmmm.... Wait! I own a Mustang (okay, it _looks_ like a Mustang and runs like a Fairmont), and I own BB on DVD. Is there a connection? :?

Oh, and by the way, Art, can you do an Italian accent?

Jon,
I can't believe that anyone would remember anything from a movie as bad as "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai (Across The Eighth Dimension)."

George, George, George....

"TABB(ATED)" is a true classic. Quintessentially 80s - skinny ties and all.... Beats the crap out of "The Spice Girls Movie", IMO.

I can't help it - I have a weakness for bad B movies and music nobody else would like. Want to listen to my Stewart Copeland instrumental CD?
