I am looking for a new climbing partner. My current climbing buddy is moving to Montreal in July. It would be nice if you can follow at least to 5.9 and have some experience leading. I am willing to take on a noob, but it would be nice if you had at least some experience climbing outside and your own gear.

Also, if you already have a partner and don't mind a third, keep me in mind.

Bump. My other climbing partner moved.

Still willing to take a noob or teach someone how to climb. Need to get outside and climb. We can go to the climbing gym in durham too.

If I hadn't taken a big ol lead whipper back in 03 I'd be all over it with you, I managed to herniate a disc in my back and have just never been able to get back into the sport. I used to be a pretty solid 5.10d climber too :(

I hear you. I took a nasty fall last year at sauratown. Got the rope behind my leg, tore a hole in my hand, and arrested upside down. Not fun. It has been a challenge for me to lead anything over 5.8 since.
