I just saw this today. For those who have Forza 6 (Xbox One console), the new Porsche expansion pack (released today) includes VIR as a new track. I am not sure what configuration(s) are supported. I will download and give it a try tonight.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

Nice! I'm not baller enough to have a sim rig and just about the only games I own are Project cars and Forza. I haven't bought Forza 6 yet but probably will now.

Is there an oak tree at Oak Tree? Updated pavement, etc?

I found a youtube video, there is no oak tree and the pavement is as it exists currently.

I just finished playing a bit. It has seven configurations. Full, North, South, Patriot, Patriot Alt (includes part of South), Grand East and Grand West. Also, each configuration has a day, night and wet version. I have only driven Full in real life and it was a number of years ago. So I am not the best judge of accuracy. It looks good. Some of Full didn't feel right to me. T3 seemed tight, T10 is not particularly dangerous if you go off (easy to recover), tail end of T14 seems odd and T16b also is odd.

They had to put in a lot of extra tire barriers that do not exist in real life. This seems to be to keep people from cutting corners. The uphill esses is an example. It likely will help gameplay, but it makes the track look ugly at times (I always love the view going into the uphill esses. At times it really changes the drivers view of upcoming corners.

As mentioned above, it's the current configuration (no tree at oak tree, new start finish, etc.)

I think we can continue to dream on that one.

I ran the track on Forza6 last night and drove the course today, had a blast. First time on a track like that and I took wifey with me, it was thoroughly entertaining. :)
