It's back, this time on Saturday April 30 so it doesn't conflict with Cinco de Mayo parties. http://www.pinehurstconcours.com.

Advance purchase tickets are $30 through the end of Feb, then $40. At the gate, $50. Proceeds support the USO.

Last year they threw in a concert by Three Dog Night after the awards ceremony. That was well received, so this year they have the Commodores playing (ask your parents or Rodney who they were).

The cars on display run the gamut, from this

Yeah, Pam and I disco'd to the Commadores and I'm proud to say I had a great time doing that. As for the show, tickets in hand, so I'm ready to go. Like Art said, tickets price goes up 1st of March, so you have a few days to save some cash....

bump. A real-live Concours d'Elegance, just an hour and change from RTP. If you haven't been to one of these car shows like you see on Chasing Classic Cars, you ought to give it a try. Snell-approved helmets not required, just a hat, sunscreen and a folding chair for the concert following the awards ceremony.
