Figured I'd introduce myself right quick:
My name is Austin Culbertson, and I am the brother of Chad Culbertson. I've been to the same events Chad has, and after doing the autocross this past month, I had to sign up.
As for my background, I work as a NOC Engineer (aka not a real engineer, as someone pointed out at the November meeting) in the Cary area, and I've been here for about two years.
I've met some of you at AutoCross #8 I'm sure, but I don't really remember anyone's names, other than Rob (the Novice Coordinator - and an excellent one at that! He was an excellent help in helping me figure out how to drive my car around a course

). Sorry if I don't recall your name! I'll remember your face though, that's for sure.
I drive a 2010 Camaro SS with pipes, headers, cold air intake, and a tune. Along with a few other odds'n'ends

I'm looking to primarily do AutoCross and Track - I participated in the NASA Hyperdrive in October (along with Chad), and got the itch ever since. It was nice to be able to actually cut loose and let those ponies roar without needing to worry about getting pulled over or putting anyone else in danger, so I will absolutely be participating in more!
Just to set the record straight on the ways that I'm better than Chad:
1) I was 1 second faster than him at the AutoCross.
2) I was ~10 seconds faster than his fastest lap at VIR! (Although, I started at the very front, and there were
a lot of people on the track, and they were holding him back... Still coutns!)
3) I bought
my Camaro 2 years before he bought his!
Anyways, there's me. I tend to be kind of vagrant when it comes to forums, so I'll likely be off and on here. In any case, I'm glad to be here! I look forward to meeting many of you in the future.
[edit] Oh, also, my Camaro dyno'd an entire
2 horsepower more than Chads!
