Private torrent trackers & invites

I've been using (edited) for years to get most of my TV. It's been down for a month and no up time in sight.

I'm looking for a (edited) invite, anyone on there? I'll trade a (edited) invite once they are back on their feet...

(Note: Controversial domain/torrent service names edited out by Richard Casto 11/12/2014)

This doesn't look like he's breaking any forum rules. He isn't actually discussing "warez" but is asking about a service.

If you think discussing Internet services should be disallowed, then let's add it to the rules. Forum rules can be found and subsequently updated here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2

d. Members are expected to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc.

Not that I especially care about torrenting TV shows.

Its good we found something to argue about publicly. Can we just make a big list right now and have it out. Politics, Religion, etc. Do we need to setup a weight class, or is it all just based upon raw scores so we can figure out who is winning?

Please let this die. Especially if it is going to be nothing more than a public pissing contest between established combatants.

Pretty sure it doesn't. No more so than buying a car that's capable of breaking the speed limit makes me guilty of breaking said speed limit.

Reply to ninja-edit: Cars serve a purpose besides exceeding the speed limit. What purpose does getting access to a private bit torrent tracker serve besides enabling piracy of copyrighted works?

Because maybe... the right answer is to not always use the big hammer. Is Mike trying to get at copyrighted shows? Maybe, maybe not. So it can be argued that he didn't break any rules. Maybe I should take off next week from work and do nothing but look for every potential forum infraction I can find so I can lock and/or delete threads and ban users. There is no statute of limitations. I am sure I will likely need to ban myself as well!

And just to be publicly clear... Zach asked my opinion prior to locking the thread (thank you Zach). My initial opinion was as yours and Zach's, and that it was an infraction, but a narrow one. But I have changed my mind. So blame me for playing both sides.

Please let this die. Do we not have anything else to discuss?
