All....

I need help please for a project I'm working on. I need a .jpg file turned into a vectored .eps file format. I asked Shawn for help and I don't think he has the right graphics program. Can anyone help me please? Send me your email and I'll forward the graphic.

Andrew, may need your help again, email sent about issues.

Rodney,

I know enough about this to be dangerous. I assume the initial issue was not converting .jpg to .eps (bitmap), but rather to a .eps (vector)? Which is likely hard or impossible, or if possible it would not be high quality vector art? Again, don't know a lot about this. I would assume either the artwork would need to start as vector, or would need to be redone from scratch as vector. Also, I vaguely remember someone posting links (somewhere) many moons ago, copies of the logos. I know at one point there was an internal Wiki. Are the logos hosted on that (if that still exists).

Richard

I found this link...

http://www.thscc.com/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php

There is a logo page, but I didn't see vector files listed. I am surprised I was able to get to the wiki content without any type of authentication. I thought the content on that wiki was supposed to be for internal use?

hummm, no log in for me. I did do a search and found where Chuck Frank had converted the logo to vector and offered to email out to anyone that wanted it. I'm REALLY hoping someone reads this and has a copy....

Sorry to keep posting. I did give a free online png/bitmap to eps/vector converter a try. I used this source image...

http://www.thscc.com/graphics/logos/ths ... anedup.png

and using this tool...

http://vectormagic.com/

It showed a preview vector image that looked workable? I think you have to register with them to get the converted file and they say you get two free conversions. Might be worth a try? It might also be along the lines of what you tried with Andrew and didn't work for some reason.

I just popped a high quality raster image into Illustrator and auto-traced it. IDK what the company Rodney is working with is trying to do, but I have a working vector files, they just don't have any fill information in them.

I'm about to head home, so I'll be able to work on it in half an hour.

so close, but the colors looked washed out when compared w/ the real NC state flag and the original logo on the website. Can those be fixed?
